George Ligon, Conway Boy Scout, won honors in a swimming meet conducted at Camp Quapaw. He was runner-up overall. He placed first in the 25-yard free style, 25-yard breast, 25-yard back stroke and 100-yard free style contest. He was also a member of the winning 100-yard relay team.
